Warehouse Associate

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting warehouse distribution operations, handling heavy equipment, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, heavy equipment operation, and a strong work ethic to contribute to the smooth functioning of our warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers safely and efficiently
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading goods
• Perform order picking, packing, and packaging to ensure accurate order fulfillment
• Maintain inventory accuracy
• Support warehouse distribution processes by organizing and storing materials appropriately
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols during heavy lifting and heavy equipment operation
• Support warehouse management in optimizing space utilization and workflow efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, order picking, and inventory management
• Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and load & unload procedures
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Experience with manufacturing or construction environments is a plus
• Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and order fulfillment procedures
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, cranes, and other industrial equipment safely
• Prior experience with warehouse experience or related roles is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
