Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and food handling under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
• Support the cleaning and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to meet food safety standards
• Help with basic food prep tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
• Ensure all food items are stored properly and maintain organized workstations
• Assist in serving food during busy hours and support plating as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized environment to promote safety and efficiency in the kitchen
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food safety practices is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds when necessary
• Basic understanding of proper food handling procedures and cleanliness standards
• Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends or evenings if needed

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
