HVAC Service Technician

Aire One West Heating & Cooling is looking for a reliable, experienced, and customer-focused HVAC Service Technician to join our team. We service Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Burlington, Oakville, and surrounding areas. If you take pride in your work, communicate well with customers, and can work independently, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities Service & Diagnostics

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, water heaters, and boilers
• Perform regular maintenance and safety inspections
• Replace faulty components and ensure proper system performance
• Calibrate thermostats and verify proper operation
• Document all work performed and update service notes clearly
• Communicate findings and recommendations to customers in a clear, professional manner
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment

Installation Support (as needed)

• Assist with installation, commissioning, and servicing of new HVAC systems
• Read and follow schematics and wiring diagrams
• Braze, solder, and connect refrigerant and gas lines
• Perform start-ups and required safety checks
• Ensure all work meets code requirements and manufacturer standards

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in residential HVAC service
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
• Comfortable using diagnostic tools and HVAC instruments
• Knowledge of Ontario HVAC codes and regulations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Required Licenses

• G2 Gas Technician License
• Valid Class G Driver’s License with clean abstract

Pay: $23.00-$29.00 per hour
