Commercial Cleaner

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various commercial facilities. This role is essential in creating a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for clients and staff. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position offers consistent hours and the opportunity to contribute to a professional setting where cleanliness is a top priority.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, lobbies, and other designated areas within commercial buildings
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
• Disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and countertops
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in restrooms and break areas
• Follow established safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while working independently or as part of a team

Requirements

• Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies
• Reliable work ethic with punctuality and dependability
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
• Must be able to pass any necessary background checks required by the employer

Pay: $18.50 per hour
