Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-orientated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. We offer an excellent opportunity to work in an enjoyable environment, with a competitive salary and benefits. Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, On site (No remote work)

Required Hours at our Richmond Hill Office: Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Match invoices to purchase orders
  • Process vendor payments
  • Post NSF’s and PAP payments
  • Post legal charges in company systems
  • Complete daily verification reports
  • Reconcile AR payments
  • Print bank statements
  • Assist with other tasks, as necessary, including posting entries into our company database systems, daily reconciliations, trust reconciliations and posting EBP statements

Qualifications

  • Professional degree or diploma in accounting, or related field
  • 1-3 years’ experience in an accounts payable or accounting position
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks, Sage 300, and Microsoft Office
  • Detail-oriented, organized, efficient and able to multi-task
  • Excellent technical, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Vendors / General Ledger / Bank reconciliation experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
