Office Cleaner (part-time)

Established commercial cleaning business is seeking experienced and skilled office cleaners to join our team. As an office cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our clients' offices across Newmarket, Aurora, and surrounding areas.

This job is mostly for evening shifts after 5pm during the week and weekends (any time). Morning shifts might also be available. Part time to start, and can be extended to full time in future. Expect to work between 3 to 8 hours per shift.

The work schedule gives you a lot of flexibility. While some clients have specific time frames for our cleaning services, most clients don't. You can go there at any time outside their business hours.

Salary starts at $19.50 per hour depending on your skills and experience. Salary is negotiable.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Empty garbage bins and replace liners
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, such as conference rooms, foyer, hallways, etc.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning duties

Qualifications:

- OWN car, vacuum cleaner, cleaning supplies are mandatory.
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is necessary
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail when dusting, cleaning washrooms and kitchen, mopping floors - some clients are very picky
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and address any concerns
