Full job description

We’ve built the city’s best sandbox. We want YOU to fill it!

The Beach Hangar is Southwestern Ontario's only 6-court, tournament-ready beach court facility and event space. We connect people through play—and we’re growing. We’re looking for a revenue-driven booker to keep our courts buzzing and our events calendar stacked.

Your Accountabilities

  • New rental revenue. Prospect businesses, schools, clubs, league organizers, coaches, community groups and corporate users. Pitch practices, clinics, leagues, tournaments, camps, fundraisers, parties and private events—then close.
  • Calendar domination. Maximize utilization of The Beach Hangar spaces - courts, restaurant, bar, patio & parking lot. You’ll bring the buzz to quiet courts, create new demand, and secure recurring rentals.
  • Events that sell. Collaborate with our team to dream up and deliver fun, high-demand events that showcase our facilities and drive food & beverage revenue. Not just sport—think socials, team builders, and community celebrations.
  • Pipeline = performance. Use CRM daily. Keep leads warm, proposals crisp, and follow-ups relentless.
  • Marketing firepower. Collaborate on digital content, ad campaigns, promos, and collateral that help you start stronger conversations and shorten cycles.
  • On-site leadership. Be present for key events—smooth operations, great customer experience, happy partners, follow-on bookings.
  • Scoreboard mentality. Track rental revenue, event margins, utilization rates, and F&B lift—then iterate to beat last month.

You are:

  • An entrepreneurial closer who learns about our community, aligns our offerings with their needs and asks for the business.
  • Hungry and motivated with an efficient, repeatable sales process and the stamina to keep hunting.
  • Likeable, humble, grateful, fun. So you'll fit in with our team and clients will want to work with you, and us.
  • A networker who loves meeting new people and turns hello into bookings.
  • Organized and efficient. You respect process, communicate clearly, and move fast.
  • Experienced. 2–3+ years in business development, sales, or event venue management (sports/recreation a plus).
  • You love to play— beach and court volleyball, or sports in general. You’ll sell it better if you enjoy it.

Your Scoreboard (performance indicators):

  • Court hours booked & utilization %
  • New and recurring rentals
  • Event revenue plus Food & Bev contribution
  • Pipeline fill and cycle time
  • Monthly/quarterly revenue vs. target

What’s In It For You:

  • Salary: ~$55,000 (Salary)
  • Bonus: For performance, based on your scoreboard
  • Perks: Free play and event participation, hybrid work, flexible schedule
  • Environment: High-energy, high-performing team, top tier facilities, big calendar, real autonomy, time & teamwork with business owners.

How to apply: Send your resume to kyla@beachhangar.ca If you have a video pitch that sells your fit with this position, attach it. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Don’t wait. Apply today.
