Working within the mission, vision and values of Wing Kei, this position is responsible for performing housekeeping/laundry tasks in an efficient and cooperative manner, with due consideration for the needs and comfort of the residents.

THE ROLE

Qualifications

  • Minimum grade 10 education is required.
  • Able to operate equipment safely and perform heavy lifting tasks and visual acuity for inspecting linen and to ensure cleaning tasks are performed to standard.
  • Some experience in institutional housekeeping/laundry is desirable.

THE INDIVIDUAL WHO WILL SUCCEED

  • Performs all cleaning, sanitation, floor care and project assignments.
  • Maintains equipment, tools in clean, sanitary and good operating condition.
  • Maintains housekeeping/laundry areas in sanitary, attractive & orderly condition.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
