Job Type: Hourly/Casual (Approximately 40 hours/week)
Hourly Rate: $16.50/hour

Are you a detail-oriented team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? Mernova Medicinal Inc. is seeking a Front Line Technician – Pre-Rolls to support our growing production team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated group that crafts high-quality cannabis pre-rolls in a clean, safe, and professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all duties related to pre-roll production: weighing flower, twisting, packaging, sealing, and applying excise stamps.
  • Operate and manage labelling machines efficiently.
  • Ensure correct excise stamps are used and applied properly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including breakdown and sanitation of the pre-roll area.
  • Adhere strictly to company SOPs and Good Production Practices (GPP).
  • Support other cannabis-related production tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in the cannabis industry is an asset.
  • Familiarity with GPP and GMP-regulated environments preferred.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a drive to continuously improve processes.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Security Clearance.

Work Environment & Conditions:

  • Approximately 40 hours per week.
  • Required use of safety equipment (e.g., indoor toe-covered shoes, gloves, hairnet, scrubs).
  • Fast-moving and dynamic production environment.
