Full job description

Summary of Position:

The Packager and Labeler shall be responsible for packaging, labelling and stickering in a clean and safe work environment, and shall also be responsible for general plant maintenance and care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Package cannabis products, including flower and pre-rolls, per company standards and regulatory requirements.
Label and seal products accurately to maintain compliance and consistency.
Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area.
Participate in all aspects of packaging and labeling under the direction of the Order Fulfillment Lead.
Weigh cannabis, fill bags/containers, operate pouch labelling machines, and use labeling and vacuum sealing machines.
Ensure packaging and labeling quality paperwork is accurate.
Handle cannabis in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) following Good Production Practices (GPP).
Place Excise stamps on consumer packages as applicable.
Assist with other cannabis-related activities as needed.

Education and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Follows through on commitments and adheres to deadlines.
Uses good judgement about when to act independently or escalate an issue.
Acts with Integrity: Demonstrates responsible, ethical and honest behavior while consistently leading by example.
Knowledge in Good Production Practices (GPP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulated environments.
