We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Administration Department. With operations spanning licensed cultivation, processing, and retail, this role requires a strong, adaptable professional who can work across multiple facilities and departments within a fast-paced, multi-site organization.

Based at our Sechelt Cultivation Facility, the Senior Accountant will support both on-site financial operations and corporate accounting functions across the broader Eggs Canna Group. Our leadership has been instrumental in shaping compliant and community-focused cannabis operations, and we continue to grow as a trusted, established name within Canada’s regulated industry

.Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle accounting, reconciliations, and month-end financial reporting
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payment processing with precision and timeliness
  • Communicate directly with customers regarding invoices, statements, and payment schedules
  • Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Maintain and reconcile excise stamp inventories and CRA excise reporting
  • Handle administrative and compliance documentation tied to Health Canada and CRA requirements
  • Work closely with operations, QA, and management teams to ensure seamless integration of financial and compliance processes
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure all financial and compliance records meet Health Canada (HC) and CRA standards

Regulatory & Compliance Requirements

  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Health Canada Security Clearance
  • Adhere to all Health Canada Good Production Practices (GPP) and financial tracking requirements
  • Ensure accurate excise duty calculations, stamp reconciliation, and monthly CRA reporting
  • Collaborate with QA and Finance teams to maintain traceability between inventory, excise stamps, and sales documentation
  • Support regulatory audits, inspections, and documentation requests from HC or CRA as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience (CPA designation or in progress preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting systems
  • Experience with regulated industries, manufacturing environments, or cannabis compliance is an asset
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities
  • Proven ability to manage accounting, administrative, and compliance workflows efficiently and independently
