Seasonal Cannabis Cultivation Labourer

Under the Sun Groweries Inc. is urgently hiring for seasonal laborers to plant, cultivate, irrigate crops and operate machinery at our Farm location, located 20 minutes outside of Saskatoon, SK.

This the perfect summer job for a hard working person who adapts to our ever changing Saskatchewan weather as employment is expected to extend into November. The right candidates will also have opportunity for full time work year round.

Job duties consist of but are not limited to:

• Tending to Plants
• Weeding
• Watering
• Fertilizing
• Scouting Crops
• Sanitization
• Detailed Record Keeping

Required Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 19 years old
• Must bring proper footwear or will be rejected from site. Work boots or Rubber Boots
• Must be able to complete detailed paperwork clearly
• Must be able to work outside all day in hot, cold and rainy weather
• Must be able to adapt to a fast-pace environment
• Must be able to physically be on your feet all day and keep up with the physical demands of planting and harvesting plants like walking, bending, crouching and kneeling

• No farm experience needed, but considered a strong asset
• Available to work week days, with some weekend work as required

Transportation from Saskatoon to the farm will be provided at our designated meet up location, applicant must have there own transportation to arrive at meet up spot everyday at 6:30am.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

• Overtime pay

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Weekends as needed
