About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager of Operations to lead the core operational functions of our organization. Reporting directly to the Ownership Group, the GM will oversee a team of department leads and be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, process efficiency, and cross-functional alignment. This role requires strong leadership, a systems mindset, and the ability to manage complex, fast-moving environments.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations across logistics, procurement, production, and planning.
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable operational plans.
  • Drive accountability, performance, and professional development within the operations team.
  • Implement process improvements and lead change initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Oversee project timelines, capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet company objectives.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and leverage data for continuous improvement.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement and logistics.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between production, warehouse, and maintenance teams.

Direct Reports

The General Manager will directly manage the following roles:

  • Director of Operations
  • Logistics & Procurement Manager
  • Production Manager

These roles collectively oversee:

  • Warehouse & Shipping Teams
  • Inventory and Production Management Teams
  • Maintenance Team

Key Collaborators

The GM will work closely with other members of the leadership team to ensure cross-functional alignment:

  • Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – for budgeting, capital planning, and performance reporting
  • Vice President of Sales – to align operations with customer demand and growth initiatives
  • Executive Assistant & Admin Team – to support scheduling, internal communications, and admin needs
  • QA Lead – to ensure quality assurance is embedded across all operational processes
  • IT & Accounting Teams – for systems support and operational data integrity
  • Operations/Admin/Logistics Support – for cross-departmental coordination and process integration

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of leadership experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or related fields
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver measurable operational improvements
  • Strong financial and strategic planning acumen
  • Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience working in a high-growth, hands-on environment
  • Proficient in operational KPIs, systems implementation, and continuous improvement methodologies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $145,650.00-$221,550.00 per year
