AgCann is an international consulting firm specializing in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and operations management for the cannabis industry. We support clients globally in achieving and maintaining GACP, GMP, and other quality certifications.
Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Associate to join our remote team. This individual will be responsible for supporting a wide range of client-facing and internal quality assurance tasks, including document review, SOP development, and client management. The ideal candidate will bring strong QA experience from the cannabis, food, or pharmaceutical sector and will be comfortable working independently across multiple time zones.
Responsibilities
- Complete desktop audits
- Conduct thorough document reviews for compliance with applicable standards (e.g. GACP, GMP, EU GMP)
- Develop quality documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, forms, and checklists
- Liaise with client QA teams and act as a point of contact for quality-related matters
- Assist clients in responding to regulatory or certification queries
- Draft, format, and organize client-facing documentation
- Support QA project management, including timelines, deliverables tracking, and meeting coordination.
- Maintain and organize controlled document libraries and version control logs
- Provide input on continuous improvement of QA systems and documentation practices
- Participate in the development of education materials
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a QA role in the cannabis industry
- Strong understanding of GACP, GMP, or related quality frameworks
- Experience in developing GMP documentation strongly preferred
- Proven ability to draft and review technical and regulatory documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a strong asset
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Comfortable coordinating meetings and project timelines across global time zones
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and task management tools
- Experience with remote work and client-facing communication is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
