Full job description

BOLD Growth is a small craft-cannabis company providing consistent, high-quality products in an extremely competitive industry. Our success can be attributed to the collaboration of each of BOLD’s hardworking and dedicated team members. At BOLD, we pride ourselves on producing best-in-class craft cannabis products that outperform our competitors.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves bringing order to a fast-moving operation. You’ll own the planning systems and the day-to-day purchasing that keep our production running, our inventory accurate, and our materials ready when we need them. If you take pride in a well-run system and clean, reliable data, you’ll fit right in.

You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team where your work has a direct, visible impact on what we’re able to produce and sell.

What you’ll be doing

This role keeps production on track: forecasting what we’ll need, planning it in our systems, and making sure it’s purchased and ready on time. Getting our planning tools working their hardest is at the heart of the job.

  • Own the setup, configuration, and ongoing use of our MRP and MPS planning tools in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Build and maintain production plans based on forecasts, current inventory, and material availability
  • Translate demand into clear production and purchasing actions through the planning system
  • Purchase non-cannabis inputs and consumables (packaging, labels, tubes, and supplies): place and manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve quantity or invoice discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records, including master inventory data, batch information, and potency entries
  • Run and improve cycle counts to keep inventory reliable
  • Analyze order sizing and timing to reduce holding costs and improve flow
  • Build and refine workflows and reporting that reduce manual work
  • Help track planning measures such as service level, forecast accuracy, and on-time production
  • Work cross-functionally with production, procurement, warehouse, and quality teams to keep plans realistic and aligned

What sets you apart

  • You have hands-on experience making MRP/MPS or ERP planning tools work well, and you enjoy configuring and improving them
  • You’re energized by systems and data, and you take real pride in accuracy
  • You’re highly organized and can juggle planning, purchasing, and data without dropping details
  • You communicate clearly and work well with both suppliers and internal teams
  • You take initiative and naturally look for ways to streamline and automate
  • You’re practical and solutions-focused

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in supply chain, procurement, or production planning
  • Hands-on experience configuring and using MRP and MPS planning tools is essential for this role
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a strong asset
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in systems and with data
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Cannabis knowledge is an asset but not required

What this role looks like

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday (daytime hours)
  • Based in Saskatoon (on-site role)
  • Occasional evenings or weekends depending on priorities
  • Hands-on involvement in planning, purchasing, and inventory managemen
