Position Summary

The employer partner is seeking a Server Assistant to support the Front of House team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, assisting with food and beverage service, and ensuring guests receive prompt, professional, and seamless service. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in full-service hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to the correct guests.
  • Maintain clean, organized dining areas and service stations throughout each shift.
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently.
  • Ensure condiments, beverages, and service supplies are stocked and prepared.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation before serving guests.
  • Communicate effectively with servers and hosts to support smooth restaurant operations.
  • Respond to guest requests and answer basic questions about menu items and restaurant services.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety standards.
  • Empty garbage, replace linen bags, and assist with general cleaning duties.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the management team.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Smart Serve Certification is required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Willingness to learn about food and beverage offerings.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
