Job Summary

Preparing food materials and making various types of sushi. We are willing to train people who have a passion for Japanese cuisine, especially sushi. With the high demand for Sushi Chef, this position has huge development opportunities.

Shift Time

· Shift Range: 11:00 to 22:00

· 4 or 5 days a week

Job Duties

  • Make various Japanese sushi based upon a high volume of food orders.
  • Prepare food materials, such as raw fish, meat, food garnishments, and eating utensils.
  • Double-check the presentation of the dishes.
  • Ensure all the raw materials are handled and stored properly based upon food safety regulations.
  • Ensure all opening and closing tasks are completed on time.
  • Help to maintain the tools and equipment used in the workplace.
  • Participate in monthly or weekly cleaning and staff meetings.

Qualifications

  • Be good at using knives.
  • Be positive and can work at a fast pace and under pressure.
  • Be flexible for working and rotating shifts
  • Be creative in creating new dishes
  • Be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
