Job Overview
Columbia Ice Group Limited is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Driver to join our growing team at our Duncan, BC operations site (Polkey Road).

We are a diverse, water company, growing our bottled and bulk delivery sector, offering a hands-on role in this dynamic, rapidly expanding company.

This position involves primarily a combination of bulk and bottled water deliveries. /a willingness to be flexible and assist the team with plant operational duties will fast track your progression in the company and open up opportunities for advancement. Duties include commercial driving, loading and unloading, forklift use where certified (optional) and general production support.

Responsibilities

  • Manage bulk truck, pumps and hoses, compliant with driving regulation
  • Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on vehicle/equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Assist with commercial driving tasks as needed, including transporting materials between locations
  • Perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting when necessary to maintain equipment functionality
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
  • Maintain accurate records of operations, inspections, and maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with team members to meet delivery/production goals and uphold quality standards
  • Bonuses when targets reached

Requirements

  • Valid BC Class 3 with Air brake endorsement
  • Clean driving record
  • Commercial driving experience necessary
  • Forklift ticket an asset (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Reliable, flexible, and practical work approach
  • Must be available on weekends during busy periods

This position is integral to our operational success, requiring dedicated individuals committed to safety, efficiency, and quality. After a 3 month probation period extended health benefits will be added.

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
