TBL Construction Ltd. is a road builder located in Red Deer, Alberta. Established in 1998, the company currently employs up to 60 employees and sub-contractors during the Alberta road building season.

At TBL we strive to be an industry leader is base construction, being extremely detail oriented.

TBL manages and implements various types of projects each year: environmental, improvement, repair and new. We work throughout the province but try to concentrate our efforts in Central, Southern Alberta.

With our fleet of over 60 pieces of equipment we can confidently tackle most jobs in the market. Our home being based out of Red Deer, Alberta helps make us competitive in all regions of the province.

What we’re hiring for:

We are looking for several Truck and Pup drivers immediately.

Responsibilities:

  • Dependable work attendance with extended working hours.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on trucks/equipment
  • Fuel, lubricate, clean and maintain truck/equipment
  • Assist in maintaining an accurate paper and computerized maintenance schedule
  • Must be safety oriented and exhibit safe work habits
  • Use proper two-way radio etiquette
  • Fill out all necessary paperwork accurately, neatly and completely
  • Attend and actively contribute to safety meetings and the OH&S committee
  • Perform miscellaneous activities throughout the day, as directed
  • Good attitude, common sense, the ability to follow directions, hard work and dependability are extremely important

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Gravel hauling experience is A MUST
  • We have a zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol and a criminal record check may be necessary
  • Maintain a valid 1A Driver’s license, Must provide drivers abstract and be insurable.
  • Provide a resume with at least two references.
