Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice or Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic, plumber or electrician to join our team with an opportunity to apprentice as a refrigeration mechanic. This role involves , maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, and related mechanical equipment across various commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical systems, electrical, HVAC, and troubleshooting, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship. This position offers opportunities for professional growth and hands-on experience in the refrigeration and HVAC industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, Controls, Boilers, electrical,, and related mechanical equipment
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately perform tasks
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify issues with HVAC systems
  • Perform plumbing and welding tasks as needed for system repairs or installations
  • Support boiler maintenance and repair activities to ensure safe operation
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot system malfunctions and implement effective solutions
  • Conduct appliance repairs and perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment during all tasks
  • Collaborate with senior technicians on complex projects involving construction or system upgrades

Experience

  • Prior experience in mechanical work, appliance repair, or construction is preferred but not required; training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics, plumbing, welding, boilers, or related fields is highly desirable
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn technical skills quickly
  • Familiarity with maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques in refrigeration or HVAC environments
