Full job description

Department / Branch: Financial Control Department
Reports To: Deputy Head of the FCD
Employment Type: Fix-term Contract
Location: Richmond Hill Office

Responsibilities:

  • Perform various bank reconciliations and prepare journal entries.
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data to support management decision-making.
  • Prepare monthly reports and other various financial reporting materials for management and the Parent Bank in China.
  • Assist in the development of management accounting processes.
  • Reconcile tax information in relation to annual tax returns.
  • Prepare reports for local banking supervisory authorities and the Parent Bank.
  • Assist in the initial preparation work for centralized procurement projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 months of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skill in English. Proficient in Chinese languages is considered an asset.
