Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, ensuring food safety, and creating a welcoming environment for our customers. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle cash transactions will be essential in this fast-paced role.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards
  • Operate the POS system for processing customer orders and payments
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils
  • Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns
  • Accurately perform basic math calculations
  • Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation

Requirements

  • Previous barista experience preferred; training will be provided
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Experience in the food industry is a plus
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
  • Basic math skills for transaction processing
