Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Square to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and food handling with precision and integrity
• Prepare a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light snacks following established recipes and food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station, coffee prep area, and dining space
• Manage food preparation tasks including assembling orders and ensuring food safety protocols are followed
• Assist in serving customers at the counter or seating area, ensuring a positive experience at all times

Experience

• Previous experience working as a barista or in food service is preferred, demonstrating knowledge of beverage preparation and customer interaction
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Square or similar platforms for efficient transaction processing
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods while maintaining quality service
• Experience in cash handling, cashiering, and basic math to ensure accurate transactions and change management
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in fast-paced environments
• Food industry experience that highlights your ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
