Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing fresh sandwiches and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Duties

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to Subway standards, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using the POS system, including Micros POS if applicable.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety standards.
• Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods.
• Restock supplies as needed and assist with kitchen organization to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest questions, concerns, or special requests professionally.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for those new to the food industry.
• Knowledge of food preparation, serving, and food safety practices is advantageous.
• Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining sanitation standards in the kitchen area.
• Prior restaurant or food industry experience is beneficial but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
