Job Summary
The Retail Associate plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of Trinity Energy
Group’s retail store, specializing in tools, interiors, and construction-related products.
This position involves customer service, counter sales, inventory management, and
warehouse support, including stocking and forklift operation. The Retail Associate is
expected to develop a strong understanding of the products and services offered by
Trinity Energy Group and its vendors to assist customers effectively and contribute to
sales efforts - both in-store and, at times, off-site.
The role requires a high level of product knowledge (especially around plumbing), a
proactive attitude toward learning, and a commitment to providing excellent customer
service. The Retail Associate will also support inventory processes, purchase order
handling, and health and safety practices, while assisting with various tasks to ensure
the store runs efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily operations at the store, ensuring a smooth and efficient
- workflow.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of electrical products, parts,
- and services offered by Trinity Energy Group, including vendor-specific
- support.
- Utilize electrical experience to assist customers in identifying appropriate
- products, troubleshooting basic issues, and recommending suitable
- solutions.
- Provide excellent customer service, including counter sales, order
- management, and assisting with customer inquiries.
- Network with contractors, electricians, and clients regularly to foster
- relationships and enhance sales opportunities.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving purchase orders,
- verifying plumbing materials, and conducting cycle counts.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols and policies to maintain a safe
- working environment.
- Perform other store-related duties as directed by management.
Job Requirements
- Electrical experience required.
- Must have excellent customer service.
- Previous retail experience considered an asset.
- Previous sales experience considered an asset.
- Trinity specific on-the-job training may be provided.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player and willing to learn.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
