Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service experiences. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment where attention to food safety and quality are paramount. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
  • Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and handled following food safety guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Follow sanitation procedures and adhere to health regulations
  • Stock ingredients and supplies as needed, notifying management of shortages
  • Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction

Experience

  • Prior experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety standards
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with the food industry, including meal preparation and kitchen operations
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation protocols
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards

Pay: $18.25-$25.00 per hour
