Operator - 4TH class power Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Operator - 4th Class Power Engineer to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background and experience in oil & gas or heavy equipment operation to advance their careers in a dynamic environment.

Duties

• Transferring liquid asphalt products for receiving, blending and shipping purposes, including off-loading rail cars, trucks and ships;
• Product testing and testing of boiler feed water;
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
• Keeping the work environment in a clean state;
• Steam: perform maintenance and operational as required
• Coverage for vacation and / or sick time as needed it.
• Conduct regular safety checks and adhere to all safety protocols to prevent accidents;
• Support maintenance teams during repairs or upgrades of plant systems;
• Follow all environmental regulations related to oil & gas operations and waste management.

Requirements

• Valid 4th Class Power Engineer certification or higher;
• Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in operating heavy equipment;
• Prior experience in oil & gas industries is highly desirable;
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently;
• Proven experience operating heavy machinery and industrial equipment;
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and compliance standards in a high-risk environment;
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues;
• Physical capability to work in demanding conditions, including standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.

Schedule and conditions

• Job includes a lot of outside work and also climbing of tank ladders up to heights of 60 feet;
• 12-hour shifts (Days and Nights) or any other schedule, depending of the employer needs.

Licence/Certification:
