Chiropractor

One Step Health Clinic is a growing multidisciplinary clinic located near Canada Olympic Park in Calgary. We provide chiropractic care, massage therapy, physiotherapy, acupuncture, manual osteopathy, and custom orthotics.

We are looking for a licensed chiropractor to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is professional, compassionate, reliable, and interested in growing their caseload in a supportive multidisciplinary clinic environment.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will provide high-quality chiropractic care with a focus on improving mobility, reducing pain, supporting functional improvement, and enhancing overall well-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives through individualized treatment plans and collaborative care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including health history and physical examinations
  • Provide chiropractic adjustments, manual therapies, and other appropriate treatments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Educate patients on their condition, treatment options, posture, ergonomics, exercises, and prevention strategies
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans when needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
  • Communicate professionally with patients and team members
  • Collaborate with other healthcare practitioners when appropriate
  • Help create a positive and welcoming experience for patients

Qualifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Alberta
  • Valid professional liability insurance
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, musculoskeletal conditions, and pain management
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Compassionate, professional, and patient-centered approach
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a clinical setting

Assets

Experience or interest in any of the following would be considered an asset:

  • Soft tissue therapy
  • Acupuncture
  • Rehabilitation exercises
  • Taping
  • Custom orthotics
  • Sports injuries
  • Prenatal/postnatal care
  • Multidisciplinary clinic experience
  • Experience or interest in MVA cases, injury rehabilitation, and insurance-based treatment planning

Schedule

Expected hours: 8–20 hours per week, depending on practitioner availability and clinic needs.

Ideal availability would include 1–3 consistent shifts per week, including some weekday afternoon/evening or Saturday availability.

Compensation

This is a contractor position with competitive percentage-based compensation.

Current chiropractic service fees are:

  • Initial Assessment: $100
  • 10-minute follow-up: $55
  • 20-minute follow-up: $75
  • 40-minute follow-up: $110

Estimated earning potential: $60,000–$120,000+ per year, depending on availability, schedule, caseload, and practitioner growth.

Compensation structure can be discussed based on experience, availability, and fit with the clinic.
