At Mirvik we design & develop innovative apparel & accessory products for some of the countries most exciting brands, restaurants, hotels, airlines & businesses. We are fast becoming the leader in customized brand merch & modern uniforms. Be a part of creating unique customized products everyday.

We are seeking a Junior Graphic Artist to join our talented & dedicated team that brings exciting designs & ideas to life on a daily. 3+ years of design experience is essential as well as an understanding of fashion graphics, screen printing & product development. Knowledge of shopify platform, social media assets & marketing initiatives is a bonus.

You will be responsible for working with the Senior Graphic Artist in various aspects of the design & production process.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Create, develop and edit detailed technical graphic packages, including detailed technical sketches in Adobe Illustrator and Technical trims
  • Create Production artwork Tech packs
  • Create CADS for customers
  • Sizing up graphics & prepping for screen printing
  • Selecting print & embroidery colors
  • Prepping Films for screen printing
  • Strong knowledge of design savvy & fonts
  • Ability to manage changing priorities to keep on track to meet established deadlines
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and focus on key strategies to support the objectives of the division.
  • Work closely with the senior graphic artist to ensure the styling and quality from development stage of each product to final production.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role
  • A diploma in graphic design.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) an asset.
  • Strong communication skill and organized
  • Must be able to work autonomously and with little supervision.
  • Be able to work at a fast pace.
  • Strong time management skills and work well under pressure, Ability to multitask & meet tight deadlines.
  • Must be a team player.

Pay: $40,000.00-$47,000.00 per year
