Bartender/Server

Job Summary
SAMBAL is a modern Indonesian bistro on The Danforth in Toronto. We’re looking for a Bartender who knows their way around a cocktail shaker, loves experimenting with flavors, and is excited to help craft a small but creative drink menu inspired by Indonesian ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Craft and serve cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages to spec
• Help develop and refine the house cocktail menu with seasonal and Indonesian-inspired ingredients
• Maintain bar setup, cleanliness, and stock levels throughout the shift
• Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service
• Handle POS transactions accurately and responsibly
• Assist with front-of-house duties such as seating, running food, or taking orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and energetic environment

Qualifications

• 1 year of bartending experience in a restaurant or bar
• Smart Serve Certification (required)
• Confident in classic cocktails, bar tools, and drink pacing
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Willingness to learn about Indonesian flavors and culture

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
