Full job description
Code Electric is a leading manufacturer of Electrical Enclosures, Power Distribution Kiosks, Custom Metal Fabrication, Cable Tray and C3 Commercial Metal Planters. We have a solid 47-year history in B.C., and have an exciting opportunity to add to our Accounting Team.

If you are experienced in bookkeeping / accounting and are a positive, self-motivated diligent individual who is organized, trustworthy and has excellent communication skills, then this position is a great fit. Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting (or equivalent work experience)
- Proficiency in accounting software -- Sage and ERP system
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting / bookkeeping experience
- Proficient in MS Office package, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience in payroll is a must
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles: AP, AR, reconciliations
Job Duties
The duties associated with this role include, but are not limited to:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using accounting software--Sage and Epicor
- Record and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with account reconciliation processes and maintain accurate financial documentation
- Process credit card receivables
- Payroll preparation for union and non-union – including taxable benefits
- Assist with bank deposits
- Weekly cheque run and making online payments
- Reconciling credit card transactions
- Assisting in Month end and Year end procedures
- Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and assist onboard new vendors

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
