We are growing here at Daanaa and we’re looking to add a Test Engineer to join our team to help develop robust test infrastructure, validate performance, and ensure the quality and reliability of our power electronic systems. At Daanaa, you will be joining a team of talented and driven engineers determined to make the world a better place through our revolutionizing power electronic technology.

What you’ll be doing:

• Test Stand Development: Design, source, build, and commission power test stands for power electronic products. Ensure test infrastructure meets functional and performance validation requirements across development and production volumes.
• Test Plan Implementation: Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to validate and execute test plans. Ensure test systems are designed to support scalable testing—from early prototypes (10s of units) to production volumes (1000s of units).
• Data Integrity & Automation: Develop automated test workflows and ensure all test data is captured, stored, and organized in a structured, accurate, and traceable manner, including metadata and test conditions.
• Circuit Testing & Validation: Execute test plans to validate functionality, performance, and quality of power electronic, analog, and mixed-signal circuits, with support from senior electrical engineers.
• Debugging & Root Cause Analysis: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system and circuit-level issues, leveraging data to identify root causes and drive resolution.
• Documentation & Collaboration: Produce detailed technical documentation and effectively communicate design decisions, trade-offs, and results with cross-functional teams.

You should apply if…

• You have 3–6+ years of experience in test engineering, preferably within power electronics or mixed-signal systems
• You have hands-on experience designing and building test systems or test infrastructure
• You have experience executing and validating test plans in collaboration with hardware and/or firmware teams
• You have strong experience testing power electronics, analog, or mixed-signal circuits
• You are proficient with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, multimeters, and electronic loads
• You have experience with test automation, scripting (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, or similar), and data acquisition systems
• You understand data integrity principles and can design systems for reliable, structured data capture and storage
• You have strong debugging and root cause analysis skills
• You are detail-oriented and produce high-quality technical documentation
• You hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline

You Compensation and Benefits Package:

· Daanaa’s compensation package is based on a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical salary range for this position is from $80,000 – $110,000 annually. This may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
