Overview
Our Errington Serious Coffee is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a cook. This role involves providing exceptional food service, preparing meals, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent serving skills, and want to gain experience in restaurant or kitchen environments. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills while contributing to a positive dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Food preparation tasks, including chopping, mixing and plating to ensure consistency in each dish.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
• Follow food safety protocols to ensure hygiene, proper handling of ingredients and cross contamination.
• Handle food with care, ensuring quality and presentation are maintained while following chef orders and plating expectations.
• Support team members during busy service times to ensure efficient operations.
• Adhere to all health regulations and safety guidelines within the food service environment.

• Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
