Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various metal parts and components, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet industry standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or grinding as necessary.
• Operate powder coating equipment and machinery efficiently.
• Apply powder coatings evenly and consistently using appropriate techniques.
• Monitor the curing process to ensure proper adhesion and finish quality.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating forklifts and cranes for material handling.
• Experience with machining and fabrication processes is a plus.
• Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coating applications.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency in the workflow.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in the preparation and finishing processes.
• Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operations and maintenance requirements.
• Ability to weld is advantageous for certain projects requiring metal joining techniques.
