We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Family Physician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking to build a rewarding practice with strong administrative support, flexible scheduling, and a diverse patient population.

Position Overview

The Family Physician will provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages, including preventative care, chronic disease management, diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses, and long-term patient care. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with clinic staff and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine services to a diverse patient population
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Conduct routine physical examinations and preventative health assessments
• Develop individualized treatment and care plans
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment outcomes
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic investigations
• Provide health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle counseling
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and allied healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR)
• Participate in collaborative, team-based patient care
• Support continuity of care through longitudinal patient relationships

QualificationsRequired

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent
• Certification in Family Medicine (CCFP) or equivalent
• Eligibility for independent licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
• Eligibility to practice medicine in British Columbia
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice

Preferred

• Experience in community-based family practice
• Familiarity with EMR systems
• Interest in preventative medicine, chronic disease management, women's health, men's health, mental health, pediatrics, or geriatrics
• Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
