Certified Blaster - WCB Class 1 and BC Mines Class 2

Rock Construction & Mining Inc. is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic candidate to undertake Blasting operations at job sites in British Columbia. Candidates MUST possess a valid 1st Class - WorkSafeBC Blasting ticket with use of Electronics (i-Kon and Unitronic) and BC Mines Blasting Certificate Class 2.

Job Requirements:

· Current WSBC Class 1 and BC Mines Blasting Certificate Class 2 with Urban and Electronics Endorsement (i-Kon and Unitronic)

· Minimum of 5 years' experience blasting in an urban environment, MOTI Experience

· Valid drivers’ license

Compensation:

Wage - competitive salary based on experience with regular evaluations

10% holiday pay

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 84 per week
