We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching dance, working with children, and creating engaging, age-appropriate lessons. The Dance Instructor will be responsible for developing lesson plans, guiding students through technical skills, and promoting confidence and creativity in each class.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging dance lessons tailored to various age groups and skill levels
• Teach fundamental dance techniques while emphasizing proper form and safety
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote improvement
• Prepare students for performances or showcases as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized studio space, ensuring all equipment and props are properly stored
• Collaborate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and upcoming events
• Incorporate fun activities that develop coordination, rhythm, and musicality
• Support the overall mission of the studio by promoting positive values such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification with the ISTD, RAD Or Acrobatic Arts is considered an asset
• Strong background in various dance styles and techniques
• Experience working with children in educational or extracurricular settings is highly desirable
• Experience choreographing for competitions and recitals is essential
• Classroom experience or early childhood education background is a plus
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for teaching dance
