Fleet Driver for E-Scooters

You will be a crucial member of our team that will be responsible for monitoring, transporting, rebalancing, and maintaining our fleet of e-scooters in the field to ensure a safe, available ride is always nearby. This role is key to helping grow and maintain our fleet and directly impacts millions of riders who rely on our service.

Current Shift Opening:

• Days, approx. 6:00am - 2:30pm
• Evenings, approx. 2:30pm-11:00pm
• Overnights, approx. 11:00pm-6:30am

Must be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Orientation Shift:

• June 15th, start time depending on shift preference (orientation shift only)

Responsibilities

• Safely drive our fleet vans to ensure that our fleet is distributed throughout the city.
• Work with our local operations team to handle the redistribution or recovery of high-priority vehicles in a timely manner.
• Patrol the designated service areas identifying any e-scooters that may need maintenance or repair.
• Ensuring the quality control is met (and occasionally, essential maintenance) on the scooters.
• Be a brand ambassador and positively exhibit/share safe riding practices with the community.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Must provide a driver's abstract after orientation shift.
• 8-9 years of driving experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable driving large vans, using technology (smartphone), and navigating through the city.
• Work outdoors under various weather conditions.
• Strong knowledge of your local geography or the ability to learn is an asset.
• Flexible availability and willingness to work on weekends regularly.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds; stooping, bending, walking, and standing for long periods.
• Must have a fully charged smartphone with a sufficient data plan.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate autonomously with little supervision and make quick priority judgments.
• Be willing to be subject to a background check; clearance is required
