Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Afternoon Shift Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations at our facility in Canada. This role is vital in ensuring production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives aligned with our company's mission.
Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing activities during the afternoon shift, ensuring safety and productivity.
• Coordinate with teams to meet production targets while adhering to quality standards.
• Set up and monitor the operation of production equipment.
• Ensure all materials needed are readily available.
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Support team development through coaching and performance feedback.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in manufacturing supervision or a similar leadership role.
• Mechanical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
• Ability to lead teams effectively and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Machine operator skills and experience with drills, lathes and grinders considered an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be on your feet for a ten-hour shift

Pay: $24.00-$36.00 per hour
