Madras Mami is a new and exciting restaurant bringing authentic South Indian flavors to Brampton. We’re building a reliable, energetic kitchen team that takes pride in cleanliness, efficiency, and teamwork.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Helper who is flexible, hardworking, and ready to support our chefs in daily kitchen operations. This role is essential to maintaining a clean and organized workspace while assisting with food preparation and kitchen tasks to ensure smooth service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen
• Assist chefs with basic food prep tasks (cutting, peeling, portioning ingredients)
• Help with receiving and storing deliveries properly
• Take care of kitchen errands and ensure tasks are completed on time
• Dispose of waste and keep garbage/recycling areas clean
• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
• Previous kitchen experience is an asset but not required

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
