ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on, single-person operation. You will be the sole person responsible for the day-to-day function of our Brandon warehouse - keeping things organized, staged, and running smoothly so our Owner Operator can get out the door and deliver on time, every time. You will also on occasion be behind the wheel of our 3-Ton Box Truck for local curbside deliveries as required.

This is not a role for someone who needs to be told what to do every hour. We need someone who takes ownership of this facility, works independently, and takes pride in running a tight, clean, organized operation. When you walk through that door every morning, this warehouse is yours.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Unloading inbound trailers and staging outbound loads for the delivery truck
• Maintaining inventory accuracy and warehouse organization within our Brandon facility
• Processing returns and completing all associated paperwork
• Operating our 3-Ton trucks for curbside and local deliveries as required
• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organized at all times
• Supporting the Owner Operator with day-to-day operational needs

WHAT YOU BRING

• Valid driver's licence held for a minimum of 5 years - required for fleet insurance eligibility
• A clean driver's abstract is mandatory - any record of impaired driving, DUI, or careless/dangerous driving convictions will result in automatic disqualification. A driver's abstract will be required prior to any offer of employment
• Physically capable of unloading trailers and handling large appliances
• Reliable, punctual, and consistent - this operation depends on you showing up every single day
• Organized and detail-oriented - inventory accuracy and load staging matter
• Able to work independently without supervision
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS - THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO EARN MORE

Do you hold a valid Class 3 licence with Air Brake (A) endorsement? If so, we want to know. We will compensate accordingly. Experience operating a flatbed truck with a Moffett (piggyback forklift) is an exceptional asset and will be reflected in your hourly rate.
