Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated engineer, technologist, technician, or electrician with strong practical skills and technical knowledge. This position combines hands-on field installation with technical design support and documentation. You will install and commission our systems in mining environments, while also assisting with design tasks and creating technical documentation to support ongoing projects. Responsibilities

  • Install and commission AI-based safety and productivity systems on mobile mining equipment and stationary infrastructure
  • Perform electrical and mechanical work such as sensor mounting, cable routing, and wiring
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during field deployment
  • Assist with design by updating wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation procedures
  • Create technical documentation, reports, and manuals to support future deployments
  • Communicate with mine personnel and provide structured feedback to the engineering team

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering or Technology, and/or experience as a technician or electrician
  • Strong hands-on skills in electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, and troubleshooting
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience creating technical documentation and using design tools for schematics and diagrams
  • Knowledge of Linux and computer networking is an asset
  • Able to work independently and safely in underground, surface, and remote environments
  • Valid G-class driver’s licence (required)
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including internationally

This position is available as full-time, part-time, or co-op. Compensation is competitive and will be aligned with the candidate’s experience level.
