Position: City Tractor Driver (Day Shift)

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Tractor Driver who will be responsible for picking up and delivering freight/loads in a timely and safe and secure manner. This role reports to the Terminal Manager. The incumbent takes charge of the entire loading/picking/delivering/completing paperwork process to ensure all orders are complete and meet appointment times.

Responsibilities:

• Loading the outbound truck
• Maintains process management, and paperwork
• Use ELD
• Get customer signature on a tablet app at time of pickup and delivery
• Ensures compliance with all appropriate policies, best practices and safety rules
• Willing to work occasional extended hours as required and able to handle up to 50 pound boxes
• Other duties as required

Qualifications & Key Competencies:

• Class 1 Drivers License
• Experience in a similar role for 2 years desirable
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Good analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
• Ability to meet urgent deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently

Hours and Location:

• Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 16:30
• Terminal Location: Edmonton, AB (West End)

Remuneration:

$29.00 - $31.00 per hour based on experience
