Server/Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and experience in food and beverage environments. As a Bartender, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, craft quality drinks, and ensure a memorable experience for all patrons. This role requires excellent time management, multitasking skills, and a thorough understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred, along with restaurant or food industry background. The position offers an engaging work environment where hospitality skills are valued and developed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to recipes and customer preferences
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage cash handling transactions using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
• Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety
• Restock bar supplies as needed throughout shifts
• Handle food service responsibilities including serving snacks or light menu items when required
• Uphold all food safety and sanitation protocols during beverage preparation and serving
• Effectively manage time during busy periods to serve multiple guests promptly without compromising quality

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during shifts
• Experience in serving or hospitality roles that demonstrate strong communication skills and professionalism
