Fitter Job Description

Overview:

Join our team at NORTHERN CLIMATE, a locally owned Business with a great atmosphere and an amazing team in Sudbury ON. We are currently seeking a skilled Fitter to contribute to our dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

- Weld, maintain, and fabricate various components as needed.

- Read and interpret blueprints for accurate assembly.

- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

- Use calipers and other tools to ensure precise fitting.

- Build and install structures following specifications.

- Assist with plumbing and HVAC systems installation.

- Rigging components for installation or removal.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role.

- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.

- Strong understanding of basic math principles for measurements.

- Ability to fabricate and assemble components accurately.

- Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC systems, and rigging techniques is a plus.

- Attention to detail and precision in all tasks performed.

- 3 years experience
