Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences, lead a team of front desk staff, and maintain high standards of service. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. Fluency in multiple languages and previous hotel or guest services experience are highly desirable to effectively serve our diverse clientele.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes
  • Lead and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding guest service
  • Manage guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and courtesy
  • Oversee scheduling, training, and performance evaluations for front desk personnel
  • Maintain accurate records related to reservations, billing, and guest information
  • Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Monitor budgetary expenses related to front desk operations and suggest improvements
  • Uphold hotel policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance and quality assurance
  • Implement training programs focused on customer service excellence, phone etiquette, and hospitality standards
  • Assist in human resources functions such as recruiting new staff and managing employee relations

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience in a hospitality or hotel environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Multilingual or bilingual proficiency to communicate with diverse guests
  • Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions
  • Experience in hotel operations, front desk management, or guest services preferred
  • Knowledge of budgeting principles within a hospitality setting
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Human resources knowledge for staff management and development
