Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences, lead a team of front desk staff, and maintain high standards of service. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. Fluency in multiple languages and previous hotel or guest services experience are highly desirable to effectively serve our diverse clientele.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes
- Lead and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding guest service
- Manage guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and courtesy
- Oversee scheduling, training, and performance evaluations for front desk personnel
- Maintain accurate records related to reservations, billing, and guest information
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor budgetary expenses related to front desk operations and suggest improvements
- Uphold hotel policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance and quality assurance
- Implement training programs focused on customer service excellence, phone etiquette, and hospitality standards
- Assist in human resources functions such as recruiting new staff and managing employee relations
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a hospitality or hotel environment
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Multilingual or bilingual proficiency to communicate with diverse guests
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions
- Experience in hotel operations, front desk management, or guest services preferred
- Knowledge of budgeting principles within a hospitality setting
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Human resources knowledge for staff management and development
