Kitchen Staff (Prep / Line Cook)

Location: 66 Gerrard St E, Toronto, ON

Katsuya Downtown is currently hiring Kitchen Staff for part-time and full-time positions.

We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals who can work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and are interested in long-term growth with the team.

Compensation

$17.60/hour + Tips + Vacation Pay

Staff meal provided

Training provided

No experience required (kitchen experience is an asset)

Availability

We are mainly looking for team members available for afternoon to closing shifts.

Schedules may vary depending on business needs and will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

Basic English communication skills required

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable with physically demanding kitchen work

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Willingness to learn multiple kitchen responsibilities

Minimum 6 months availability preferred

Responsibilities

Food preparation and basic cooking

Line work during service

Kitchen cleaning and organization

Supporting team members during busy shifts

Handling multiple kitchen tasks as required

About the Role

All team members are trained to handle multiple kitchen responsibilities and support each other to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service.

We value consistency, teamwork, and a positive attitude. Training will be provided to help new staff adapt to the kitchen environment.
