Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Red Seal Automotive Technician to join our team in Sussex. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty parts and components, including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair recommendations, and estimated costs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
• May provide mentorship to junior technicians or apprentices.
• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Red Seal Certification (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $30+ per hour with the exact amount based on years of experience
• $200 Tool Allowance Per Year
