Domestic Cleaner/Housekeeper

Cottage Details

It’s a family owned fully equipped cottage in Dorset and it’s an all seasons cottage, but our peak time is during May to September. We're looking for cleaning services for our 1,800 sq rental property, a one-level bungalow with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The property is equipped with a washer/dryer and dishwasher. The linen can be cleaned on site.

We provide necessary supplies for the rental (towels, blankets, linen)

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain the facility. This role is vital in maintaining a clean and safe environment that reflects our family's standards of quality and professionalism. As part of our team, you will contribute to creating a welcoming space for all our visitors.

During summer time, some weeks may require 6 days a week cleaning up to 5-6 hours per day
Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness of the facility.
• Ensure all work areas are sanitized and organized.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling processes.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies are low.
• Wash all the sheets/towels and blankets as required.
• maintain a clean facility along with equipment like fridge, dishwasher , cooking vessels and pots.
• Follow health and safety protocols at all times.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
• Support management in maintaining a tidy work environment.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable with a positive attitude.
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks.
