Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Afternoon Shift: 15:00 pm -23:30PM Night Shift: 11:00pm-7:30am

Kemflo Canada, established in 1988, family owned and operated, has developed into a leading manufacturer of high-quality plastic injection molding products. We operate a 100,000 sq facility located in Bradford, Ontario.
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Leadhand to join our night shift team. As a key leader, you'll manage a shift team, ensuring responsibilities are carried out, meeting production targets, minimize downtime and ensuring products are meeting quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, good manufacturing practices, and wear the required personal protective equipment while in the warehouse or production areas.
- Communicate and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Completing and submitting end-of-shift reports, including updates on production, mold status, work order status, and machine downtime.
- Participating in inventory counts as needed, including month-end and year-end
- Report issues and problems to immediate supervisor.
- Assist in quality investigations and non-conferences on products
- Ensure all products being run conform to the product specifications as outlined in our quality assurance program and ERP system
- Conduct periodic audits of the processes to see if there are ways of improvement and increase efficiency.
- Reporting machine issues and troubleshooting needs to the Technicians and Molding Manager
- Assist trouble shooting of machines, dies, jigs.
- Evaluating performance of your team members.
- Prepares the production floor for daily production
- Monitors daily production and adjust production based on inventory.
- Review production set-ups for accuracy and quality requirements.
- Training new hires on products, workstation processes and procedures
- Providing ongoing training and updates to team members on process changes and improvements
Qualifications
- 2-3 experience in the manufacturing environment
- High School diploma is preferred
- 2-3 years previous leadership or supervisory role
- Valid Forklift License is REQUIRED
Beneficial Skills/Certificates:
- First Aid and CPR training
- Ability to Interpret Product Drawings
- Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Physical Requirements:
- Fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move loads over 50 lbs.
